Description

The main item is two editions of the book Master The 4 Basic Operations of Mathematics. The first is The Primary Master Edition, and the other The Child Edition. The Books are organized in Levels, sort of like a computer game.

The Primary Master Edition addresses the entire content needed to achieve mastery.  This includes visualizations and concepts, some of which will be new even to those who already consider themselves masters of the 4 basic operations.  The Child Edition removes some of the more advanced levels if the parent or teacher chooses to take that approach with younger children. We would advise using the Primary Master Edition if possible and taking time to explain things where necessary.

Also included in the kit are two 3 foot number lines, which are printed lanyards that run from -30 to +30.  Also included are 30 blue acrylic discs (Units or positive numbers) to use for counting and for placement on the number lines as well as 30 gray acrylic discs (Anti-units or negative numbers) to use for counting and for placement on the number lines.

By working through the examples in the books and working through other number combinations you select randomly, the user will gain a visceral mastery of the basic operations of mathematics in a way that exceeds what they would achieve in school.  The user will also be introduced to concepts about the basic operations that also exceeds what they would be exposed to in school.
