The idea is to have people engage in hands-on experience to augment the understanding and set it firmly in the human brain. These basic ideas we believe are best undertaken with real world experience. It is for that reason the entire package is non-digital and does not involve AI. Once a person has mastered the concepts then they can take that with them into digital or AI realms.
The author has a patent in AI, though it is in expert systems, not machine learning transformer based Large Language Models.
